Digital Marketing, Inc. is now Bridgz Marketing Group
MINNEAPOLIS—Digital Marketing Inc., a data/digital marketing agency based in Minneapolis for the past 15 years, has changed its name to Bridgz Marketing Group, effective July 1, 2010.
According to co-founder and president, Michael D. Nelson, the change is intended to reflect the company’s focus on communications that bridge relationships between companies and customers, across different channels and media, not just digital.
“When we started back in 1995,” Nelson says, “the term digital marketing was not widely used, certainly not in the context it is today. It has become an industry category, representing agencies that focus on interactive media and online advertising, and we don’t want to be put in that box.”
Bridgz works primarily with Fortune 500 clients—in business-to-business and consumer markets—to help plan and manage cross-channel customer engagement programs. With a team of 70 specialists in data, marketing and technical competences, they have recently expanded their service offering with more robust strategic planning, database management and campaign automation.
